FROM THE M1

we suggest junction 29

Take the A617 for Chesterfield

Follow the signs for Chatsworth – A619 to Baslow

At the roundabout in Baslow village take the A623  signposted to Stockport for several miles through Calver & Stoney Middleton villages until you reach a crossroads by The Anchor pub.

At the crossroads turn left onto B6049 signposted Tideswell & continue to follow this road until you reach Tideswell village centre next to the small CO-OP.

Continue on this road round to the right past High Nelly's Cafe.

At the point you pass the Pharmacy on the right, The Old Toffee Shop will be approximately 300ft on the right, at the corner of Queen Street & Sunny Bank Lane.

FROM THE M6

we suggest junction 19

This takes you over the Cat & Fiddle road which is not recommended in bad weather – in which case we suggest Stockport & the A6 – see below.

Take the A537 to Macclesfield & then Buxton

From Buxton, take the A6 for Bakewell. Approx. 3 miles from Buxton take the B6049 for Tideswell & Millers Dale

You will pass through Millers Dale (under the old railway bridge), Tideswell Dale Picnic Site on the right.

Carry straight on into Tideswell. Do NOT take the right turn for Litton.

Drive into Tideswell Village until you see the Horse & Jockey Pub on the left, from this point continue on the road for approximately another 300ft & you will find The Old Toffee Shop located on the corner of Queen Street & Sunny Bank Lane.

FROM THE M6

via stockport m60

this is a busier route, but in bad weather is safer

Take the A6 until you have passed Chapel-en-le-Frith,

Take the first exit at the next roundabout, signposted A623 Chesterfield.

Pass through Peak Forest village & continue for approx 2 miles, turning right at the Anchor Pub on

the crossroads signposted Tideswell.

Continue for approx. 1 mile right into Tideswell Village with The Cathedral of The Peak on your right.

Continue on this road round to the right past High Nelly's Cafe.

At the point you pass the Pharmacy on the right, The Old Toffee Shop will be approximately 300ft on the right, at the corner of Queen Street & Sunny Bank Lane.
